About Bikram Yoga

Greek Australian husband and wife team, Nicki and Dimitrios decided to packup from where they once called home and decided to follow their roots of past ancestors and live on the Greek island paradise called Zakynthos.

Both certified international yoga teachers certified by the Bikram Yoga College of India, this dynamic team is dedicated to teaching wellness of the mind, body, and spirit through the Bikram Yoga practice, the original hot yoga.

This style of yoga was created by Bikram Choudhury from Hatha Yoga. Bikram developed this sequence to systematically work every part of the body. Each internal organ, muscle, ligament, nerve, and the gland is utilized to create a synergistic balance within the body to restore, repair and rebuild optimal health.

This challenging form of yoga is a series of 26 postures (asanas) along with two sets of breathing exercises (pranayama). Unique to Bikram Yoga, the classroom is heated to a toasty 40.6 C (or 105F). Be prepared to sweat and feel your body reach new limits of physical endurance.
